Pharmaceutical companies or pharmacies that make brand name or generic prescription drugs available to patients who are uninsured or underinsured or, for other reasons, cannot afford to pay the market price. Also included are organizations that help qualifying patients complete and file paperwork for submission to drug manufacturers to request such medication or which maintain lists of these types of programs for referral purposes. Eligibility: Individual Pharmaceutical companies each have their own eligibility guidelines and prescription assistance programs. Most ask that you do have prescription drug coverage and earn less than 200% of the federal poverty guideline.
Services Provided: Online Resource: The mission for the Partnership for Prescription Assistance is to increase awareness of and enrollment in existing patient assistance programs for those who may be eligible. RxIdaho.org offers a single point of access to public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 150 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies.

If the client is ineligible for LIS, FREEMED can combine patient assistance with the Medicares prescription drug program to hopefully avoid the dreaded coverage gap.

The clinic also has a glucometer program that provides glucometer training and education on what blood sugar means. People with diabetes are also educated on foot and eye care. They also have access to documents in Braille and large print documents.

Parenting classes which include the Positive Parenting model and Parenting as Prevention model. Class structure provides informal parent support group. On site child care provided.
