Patient Assistance program is dedicated to helping people obtain maintenance prescription drugs. They assist those individuals in need of applying to the pharmaceutical companies for prescription assistance programs. This is a FREE service for anyone who needs assistance and meets the pharmaceutical company's income criteria. The Patient Assistance program will help complete the appropriate forms, mail them to the pharmaceutical companies, and do re-orders in a timely manner. This program works by appointment only, and has an approximate 4-6 week approval process.

Breast Cancer: Provides public, community and individual education on breast and cervical cancer. Mammograms referred out to Coeur d'Alene.

The Benewah Medical Clinic has nurses that visit patients with diabetes, and educates them on diabetes and blood glucose monitoring. The clinic also has a glucometer program that provides glucometer training and education on what blood sugar means. People with diabetes are also educated on foot and eye care. They also have access to documents in Braille and large print documents.

Parenting classes which include the Positive Parenting model and Parenting as Prevention model. Class structure provides informal parent support group. On site child care provided.

Must be receiving Medicare, have limited resources and income, and reside in one of the 50 States or the District of Columbia.

Medicare beneficiaries can qualify for a low income subsidy (also known as Extra Help) paying for their monthly premiums, annual deductibles, and co-payments related to Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage). The Extra Help is worth about $5,000 per year.

Qualifying income, qualifying diagnosis verified by physician of conditions such as breast, lung, lymphoma, prostate, kidney, colon, pancreatic, head/neck cancers, malignant brain tumor, sarcoma, diabetes, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome ( and other pre-leukemia diseases) osteoporosis, pain, hepatitis C rheumatoid arthritis, selected autoimmune disorders and CIA/CIN.

PAF’s Co-Pay Relief (CPR) program provides direct financial assistance to qualified patients with co-payments, co- insurance or cost-sharing associated with prescription drugs through funds dedicated to specific disease states. In some instances, assistance with insurance premiums and/or ancillary services associated with the disease also may be available.

• Prescription Drug Patient Assistance Programs

Parents of children receiving serious and financially-challenging health care treatment. Children must be 16 or younger at the time of application, have a Social Security Number issued by the Social Security Administration (TIN numbers are not accepted), must be covered by commercial/private insurance, and under license medical professional. Family must not exceed maximum eligible family income as documented on IRS Tax Form 1040.

Patient must be receiving treatment for the disease named in program which they are applying, patient's medication/product must be listed on PANS covered medications, patient must fall at or below 400/500% of Federal Poverty Level (depending on funding guidelines), patient must reside and receive treatment in the US or US territories; US citizenship is not required.

Must show card or the downloaded mobile app, to the pharmacy when purchasing prescription medications to receive the lowest price available to client: the negotiated SingleCare discounted rate, pharmacy price, or insurance price (if client has a health plan). The SingleCare card can also be used for pet meds.
