Saint Alphonsus is a 387-bed regional medical center. Saint Alphonsus is the region's trauma center and home to Life Flight, the area's first air medical transport program. As a trauma center, Saint Alphonsus specializes in neuroscience, orthopedic, surgery, rehabilitation, cancer, heart, vascular, and emergency services to care for the most critically ill and injured. Saint Alphonsus is known as a leader in orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery provision, open heart surgery, cardiology diagnostics and intervention, robust oncology program, and also offers world-renown diagnostic and medical imaging resources.
Saint Alphonsus offers family-based services that include a Family Maternity Center and Neonatal ICU that focus on personalizing the birthing experience for women and their families. We also offer a wide range of health and wellness classes and safety and prevention programs for people of all ages.

The Panhandle Health District through a grant from the United Way is able to assist individuals who don't qualify for Medicaid and are still low-income through the following:
Part-time nurse to do triage & referrals by phone (similar to Ask-A-Nurse)
Some free services by doctors, dentists, counselors, pharmacist, lab work and radiology.

The Hotline number is in place to ensure that people who aren't online (as well as people who don't speak English or Spanish) have access to all the information they need.
