Eligibility: An application for children's mental health services is required to determine eligibility for services.
Services Provided: The Regional Children and Family Services Program receives and evaluates reports of child abuse, neglect or abandonment. When necessary, appropriate services are provided to resolve family needs. This Program assesses, evaluates and determines reported incidents of child abuse, which may include an evaluation of family members and/or the abused child. Helps acquire counseling for victim, parents, abuser and other involved. There is no fee for child protective services.

The Regional Children and Family Services Program licenses child care facilities, foster homes and provides some adoption services.

The Regional Children and Family Services Program is administered by the Division of Family and Community Services.
