St. Alphonsus Family Center

The Saint Alphonsus Family Center is a meeting place for all generations of women to come together for professional support and health resources. Through the direction of a collaborative team of physicians, nurses and specialists, the center partners with women and their families to improve wellness throughout their life. It is a place where families come together to grow.
Parenting classes currently offered include Signing Times, Parenting at Midnight, and Pediatric Sleep Consultations
Family Wellness Education Programs include:
CARE Maternal/Child Health Programs: A clinic and educational support program for pregnant refugee women and their families
**Childbirth classes (early pregnancy, childbirth, childbirth refresher); preconception and postpartum
**Breastfeeding classes/Lactation consulting - A certified lactation consultant assists new mothers in achieving successful breastfeeding. Services available include consultations/patient education and manages a comprehensive line of breastfeeding supplies, such as pump rentals, nursing pads, nursing bras, breastfeeding classes and breastfeeding support groups.
**Parenting - Signing Times, Parenting at Midnight, Pediatric Sleep Consultations, Taming the Toddler, "Happiest Baby on the Block," and Newborn Care and Parenting.
**Child/Teen Development - Baby sitting and CPR classes, to register call 367-3454 or go to saintalphonsus.org
**Safety - Babysitting Safely, CPR for Babysitters, and CPR for Parents, car seat safety checks
Support Groups - Breastfeeding Support and Encouragement, and Baby and Me (a support group for parents with children ages 0-12 months) and SHARE of Idaho (Miscarriage and Infant Loss)
**Massage Therapy Certified massage therapists on staff for women, men and children include Swedish massage, Pregnancy massage, Infant massage.
