Services Provided: The Childhelp national child abuse hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Childhelps goal is to meet the needs of abused, neglected, and at-risk children. Programs and services also include residential treatment services; children's advocacy centers; therapeutic foster care; group homes; advocacy programs; and the National Day of Hope, part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month every April. Also has local services and programs in many states.

The hotline, 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453), serves the United State, it's territories and Canada. The hotline is staffed by professional crisis counselors who, through interpreters, can provide assistance in approximately 170 languages. The confidential and anonymous service offers crisis intervention, information, literature and referrals to thousands of emergency, social services and support resources.
