Services Provided: La Posada Tax Clinic is open year round and offers a variety of tax services, including: *Free tax preparation for low income individuals, preparation for prior year tax returns, including current year returns not filed by the April 15 deadline. *Help for low income taxpayers unable to pay taxes due. *Explain tax letters and notices and help individual with replies. *Help obtaining individual tax identification numbers for taxpayers and dependents who are not eligible for social security numbers *Explain rights and responsibilities as a taxpayer. *Help with IRS audits and examinations *Request Innocent Spouse Relief *File Injured Spouse Claims *Appeal Earned Income Tax Credit Denials *Appeal other changes the IRS has made to your tax return *Stop Tax Liens and Levies *Obtain legal help for those who need to go to Tax Court. *Identity Theft
