Services Provided: Online Resource: The Idaho Eks Association is made up of 21 Elks Lodges throughout Idaho.
To locate your local office go to: http://www.idahoelks.org/LodgeList.aspx

Our Major Project since 1947 is the Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital serving the needs of people with disabilities.
We have several state programs for youth:
* * Elks Scholarships - The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3.3 million in college scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors. The "Most Valuable Student," Eagle Scout, and Girl Scout Gold Award scholarships are open to any graduating high school senior. Legacy Awards and Emergency Educational Fund Grants are available only to children of Elks. The application process and deadlines vary for each of the programs. All applications, except for the scouting scholarships, must go through a local Elks Lodge before reaching the Elks National Foundation office. *Contact your high school counselor for more information or your local Elks Lodge*.

* * The Elks Soccer Shoot program consists of two different contests that test different level skills at different ages. A "Five Goal Contest" consists of a series of five goals, decreasing in size from 48 inches to 17 inches. The age groups that use these goals are divided into two categories, U-8 contains all ages seven years old and younger, and U-10 group contains ages eight and nine. The contest is open to boys and girls who shoot separately.

* * The Elks National "Hoop Shoot" Free Throw Program is open to all boys and girls, ages 8 through 13. All public and private schools within the jurisdiction of the local Elk Lodge are invited to participate in the Elks National "Hoop Shoot" Free Throw Contest. Depending on interest, many school districts may participate in the Lodge contest.
Your local "Hoop Shoot" Director can tell you the number of lodges and districts in your state and the states that make up your region.

* * We support Americanism in our schools and in our communities. For the Order of Elks, veterans remembrance is a daily proposition. We never have and never will never forget the sacrifices these heroes made so that we may be free. But it has been a tradition for the Order to redouble its efforts on behalf of veterans in November, not just for Veterans Day, but for the entire month. For the Elks, November is Veterans Remembrance Month.

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to helping girls stay out of the "Girl Box" - a place where girls are valued more for their outward appearance than their character inside. Girls on the Run has spring and fall seasons. Each season girls meet after school twice a week for 10 weeks and participate in a community 5k. In the Treasure Valley we offer the program in Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Kuna, and Middleton. The curriculum-based program addresses all aspects of a girl's development by combining training for a 3.1 mile event with lessons designed to promote physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social development. The program objective is to reduce the display of at-risk behaviors among participants by providing girls with the tools to make healthy decisions and form positive self-images.

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to helping girls stay out of the "Girl Box" - a place where girls are valued more for their outward appearance than their character inside. Offered each Spring and Fall for ten weeks, after-school programs are offered at locations in both Ketchum at Atkinsons' Park and Hailey at the Community Campus.
