Biosketch:

Danielle Goetz, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo and Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center at the CF Center of Western NY (WNY) in Buffalo, NY. She is Co-Primary Investigator of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutic Development Center in Buffalo and a Pediatric Pulmonologist at UBMD Pediatrics and the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. She serves on the Steering Committee and the Protocol Review Committee for the CF Foundation’s Therapeutic Development Network. She graduated from the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo and completed residency, chief residency and fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Goetz is also Physician Leader at the Buffalo Site of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Pilot Learning Quality Improvement Network. The CF Center of WNY received the Quality Care Award in 2018. She was a Top Doctor (Castle Connolly, Medical Ltd) in 2017 & 2018 and received the Excellence in Care Award from the WNY Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2017. Dr. Goetz is director of the Pediatric Pulmonology rotation at Oishei Children’s Hospital and enjoys mentoring residents and students and working with the interdisciplinary CF team, who recently completed a Patient Partnership training through the CF Foundation. Dr. Goetz’s clinical and research interests include cystic fibrosis, and pulmonary and mental health in cystic fibrosis.
