Biosketch:

Brad Wiggins is the Nurse Manager for the University of Utah Health Burn Center. He has been at the University Hospital for 34 years and at the Burn Center for the last 28 years. He received his BSN from Westminster College in 1998. As an active member of the American Burn Association (ABA), he has served on various committees over the past 28 years, including the ABA Program Committee, Organization and Delivery of Burn Care Committee, and Burn Camp Special Interest Group.

Brad has established five different Burn Camp programs for ages four through adult that help support burn survivors with the personal challenges associated with surviving a burn injury.

During his time at the Burn Center, he has received many accolades, including Utah Business Magazine's “Health Care Hero” in 2002 (his Burn Camp was recognized again for the honor in 2011), and as a “Pay It Forward” recipient from KUTV in 2012. He frequently speaks to medical facilities and care organizations, and he spent two weeks in September 2012 in China, where he was invited to share his expertise with medical professionals in the city of Xining enhancing their burn care.
